Real Wood Smoked Sausages
Summer Sausage *
The recipe for our famous summer sausage has been passed down for four generations and is still smoked over a real apple wood fire. We offer 5 different varieties including: Original, Pepper Jack, 100% all natural Beef Jalapeno, Garlic, and our newest Blueberry Wild Rice!
Slim Johns *
We've taken "Slim Jims" to the next level. Our lean snack sticks are made in 6 varieties: Original, Teriyaki, Jalapeno, Cheddar, Pepper Jack, and Excelsior Brew
Wieners *
Our wieners are handmade the old fashioned way, in a natural casing. Only the finest meats are used: beef rounds, beef chuck and pork. No fillers!
Ring Bologna *
Made with beef rounds, beef chuck and pork. Our bologna is fully cooked. Just simmer in water to heat and serve, or serve cold.
Real Wood Smoked Meats
Bacon *
Our award winning bacon is slow cured and smoked for two days over a real apple wood fire. It is hand trimmed and extra lean. Warning: May be habit forming!
Canadian Bacon *
Hand trimmed, extra lean. It is slow cured and smoked over an apple wood fire, the same as our slab bacon..
Pork Back Ribs *
Our famous ribs are seasoned and smoked with fruit wood. Steam bake in a 350° oven for approximately 4 hours.
Dried Beef *
Beef rounds cured and smoked over a wood fire.
Smoked Turkeys *

Seasonal only. Whole turkeys cured and smoked over a wood fire. Slice and eat or heat and serve.

Jerky
String Jerky
Beef strips marinated in teriyaki and spiced with peppers for a spicy, hot flavor. Made to eat like "string" cheese.
BBQ Jerky
Beef rounds marinated in BBQ sauce for a sweet, smoky flavor.
Campfire Jerky *
Mackenthun's original smoked jerky! This is what cowboys brought along in their pack.
Free Range Turkey Jerky *
Antibiotic, hormone, and nitrite free turkey tenders marinated in a red pepper sauce for a medium hot flavor.
Jamaican Pork Jerky *
Boneless pork marinated in pineapple juice and Jamaican spices with crushed red peppers for a sweet, hot flavor. YUM!
All of our jerky's are made with whole muscle meats-nothing ground and processed.
Speciality Sausages
Liver Sausage *
This precooked sausage is made from fully cooked pork, pork liver, and onions. Just serve as is for a great, chopped liver hors d'oeuvre.
Blood Sausage *
We prepare traditional blood sausage with cooked pork, barley, and beef blood. Fully cooked and ready to eat on crackers or fry until hot and serve.
Head Cheese *
Handmade with cooked pork and onions and seasoned with vinegar. We think you'll agree - it's the best you'll find.
Braunschweiger *
One of Mackenthun's specialties from Ruben's original recipe. Even if you've never liked braunschweiger, we think ours will win you over.
Gritswurst
A unique, local favorite. Handmade with cooked beef chuck and oatmeal. Fried like hash, it makes a great breakfast or a light supper.
Swedish Sausage *
Potato sausage made with extra lean pork. A meal in itself. Just simmer slowly in water for 25 to 30 minutes.
Italian Sausage *
Available in a natural casing or in bulk. It is made with medium hot spice and great Italian flavors. Turns your great spaghetti into the greatest! Cook for pizza topping and all of your favorite Italian dishes.
Andouille Sausage *
A spicy smoked pork sausage. Great for use in gumbo, red beans, rice, stews, soups, jambalaya, or just eat plain with BBQ sauce and mustard.
Kielbasa Sausage *
Smoked in a ring. Lots of garlic.
German Style Sausage *

Made with all beef, eggs, milk, bread, and spices. A long time Mackenthun's specialty. Thaw and bake at 350° for approximately 90 minutes until thermometer reads 160°.
Handmade Chicken Pies
Made with chicken, peas, carrots, and corn in a white sauce. Offered with a single or double crust.
Mexican Pies
Made with chicken, beef, tomatoes, pinto and black beans, corn, rice, onions, cheese, tortillas, peppers, and spices.
Tuscan Sausage Torte
Featuring our Italian sausage with chunky tomatoes in marinara sauce, black olives, artichokes, fresh basil, spinach, provolone and parmesan cheeses.
Handmade Lasagna
Featuring our Italian sausage and plenty of ricotta, parmesan, and mozzarella cheese. Available in two sizes. Frozen. Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
